Supporting the Community

This project was born from a desire to reconnect with ancestral traditions and showcase the craftsmanship of the local community in every detail. Many of the accessories and products found at the hotel are made and grown locally at Pueblo del Sol, a sister project led by a team with a shared mission: to support the indigenous communities of the Oaxacan highlands.

The Design

Alberto Kalach envisioned a sublime design inspired by ancient building techniques like vaulted arches, which breathe life into the hotel and promote the flow of good energy and positive thoughts throughout the space. The use of natural woods and clay gives the architecture a unique quality, offering guests a fully sensory experience.
