1.- Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
This breathtaking castle was commissioned in 1866 by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, also known as “The Mad King.” More aesthetic than functional, the project was conceived at a time when castles were no longer necessary for defense. It is said to have been born from the king’s desire to live within a fantasy world of his own imagination.
2.- Prague Castle, Czech Republic
Prague Castle is a monumental complex of palaces, fortresses, and religious buildings that served as the residence of princes, kings, emperors, and, since 1918, Czech presidents. Its origins date back to the 9th century, during the reign of Prince Bořivoj. Today, it remains the Czech Republic’s most important cultural and historical monument.

Alcázar of Segovia is one of Segovia’s most important landmarks. Originally built as a Hispano-Arab fortress, its earliest documented reference dates to 1155.
