AZULIK Group has unveiled EK, a revolutionary electric vehicle designed by Roth FabLab—a bold step forward in sustainable mobility and ecological innovation. Crafted with natural inspiration and rooted in Mayan culture, EK reflects AZULIK’s vision of a future where technology and nature coexist in harmony.
Launched at the AZULIK City of Arts in Francisco Uh May, EK takes its name from the Mayan word for “star.” Conceptualized and led by Eduardo Roth, AZULIK’s founder, EK embodies the group’s long-standing commitment to sustainable design and regional craftsmanship.

“Everything in nature is in motion. The beauty of those delicate oscillations, from the wind moving a leaf to the last drops of rain after a storm, inspired this car.”
—Eduardo Roth
AZULIK Mobility is dedicated to creating environmentally conscious transportation solutions for fragile ecosystems like Tulum, where mangroves, beaches, and natural reserves demand responsible innovation. EK was developed using locally sourced materials and in collaboration with regional artisans, supporting both environmental conservation and local economies.
The vehicle itself is a fusion of form and function. It features a lightweight structure composed of fiberglass, thermoformed acrylic, and exterior textiles, with artisanal details such as a zapote wood steering wheel and emblem. EK offers comfort, efficiency, and eco-conscious luxury, positioning itself as a symbol of next-generation mobility.

As the exclusive vehicle for AZULIK Residences and AZULIK Villas, EK serves the community of 84 luxury apartments and villas in Tulum. It enhances the sustainable lifestyle that defines these developments, where architecture, technology, and the environment converge.
With EK, AZULIK continues to set new benchmarks in eco-friendly transportation, reaffirming its role as a leader in sustainable architecture, mobility, and innovation.
