Art took over the resort in a week-long immersive program exploring identity, belonging, and the power of creative dialogue.

From November 24 to 30Nobu Hotel Los Cabos transformed into a vibrant cultural hub with the second edition of On Exhibition, an immersive artistic experience that turns the resort into a living gallery. Hosted in collaboration with Chayul Collective—a New York-based platform dedicated to supporting emerging talent—this initiative redefines hospitality by merging it with art, dialogue, and community.

This year’s edition was built around the theme “A Sense of Belonging,” exploring how art becomes an emotional refuge, a mirror of identity, and a shared space for memory, culture, and the ways we inhabit the world. Through painting, sculpture, film, motion design, music, and live performances, the featured artists offer a sensorial journey that navigates between the personal and the collective.

Among the confirmed artists are Julia Wheatley, whose exploration of color and collage unveils layers of personal history; Nicolás Manrique, an Emmy-nominated 3D animation artist known for his surreal visual language; Jenna Krypell, who bridges art and design through dimensional works with striking visual impact; and Mateo Sicilia, a filmmaker whose dark comedy dissects power, identity, and society. They are joined by Frank Alcock and Markciano, sound artists who fuse disco, house, and Latin rhythms to turn the hotel into a fully immersive sensory landscape.

The program featured live painting sessionsauctions at the Shiawase Gardenfilm screeningscurated dinners at Munasunset sessions, and a closing soirée at M Bar. These were more than just events—they were curated experiences designed to ignite conversation and expand the way we engage with contemporary art in a space defined by luxury and intention.

More than an exhibition, On Exhibition positioned itself as a platform for experience, connection, and shared creativity. With this initiative, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos reinforces its commitment to the arts—becoming not just a destination, but a place where creativity is lived, shared, and celebrated.
