As a natural evolution of the original concept, Marne Restaurante expands the experience that began with specialty coffee and artisanal baking, introducing a versatile, contemporary kitchen designed for all-day enjoyment in one of Mexico City’s liveliest neighborhoods.
Founded in 2020 as a small coffee bar with freshly baked bread, Marne was born with the intention of pairing every cup with high-quality products. Over time, the project grew alongside its community, giving rise to two complementary expressions: the bakery and the restaurant. Both share the same philosophy—centered on quality, warmth in service, and an honest approach to gastronomy.

Located in Roma Norte, Marne Restaurante marks the project’s next chapter. While it retains the hallmark of daily baked bread, it integrates this into a broader culinary offering tailored to different moments of the day. The space functions as a relaxed, modern gathering place—perfect for leisurely breakfasts, unhurried lunches, and dinners that stretch into long conversations.
In the morning, the menu features well-crafted dishes such as French toast, chilaquiles, and scrambled eggs with ikura, always served with a selection of their freshly baked artisan breads.
As the day progresses, the kitchen shifts toward a more indulgent culinary experience, offering a casual yet elevated menu complemented by a curated selection of wines and light cocktails—an invitation to linger. Among the must-try dishes, two stand out as signatures of the restaurant’s identity: the sikil pak tostada and the classic steak and fries.

What sets the Marne Restaurante experience apart is its impeccable, attentive, and friendly service—always present, never stiff. Under the culinary direction of Chef Pancho Ibáñez, the kitchen brings together technique, creativity, and a focus on seasonal ingredients, thoughtful processes, and comforting flavors that speak to the everyday.
