Marta is a restaurant led by chef Manuel Sánchez Camarena. This new space presents an experience where French technique meets a contemporary vision shaped by sensitivity and intention.
Conceived as a personal project, Marta reflects the chef’s culinary perspective—an author-driven cuisine rooted in emotion. Each dish is approached as a composition, where ingredients, techniques, and presentation come into dialogue to create a memorable experience.

Located at Río Lerma 297 in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood, Marta sits within one of Mexico City’s most dynamic and evolving gastronomic areas.
The restaurant inhabits a 1930s house that has been thoughtfully restored, preserving its original essence. The result is a space that balances past and present, maintaining its historical character while introducing contemporary details.
Chef Manuel Sánchez Camarena has worked alongside renowned figures such as Mikel Alonso and Elena Reygadas. His career also includes a period in private dining, where he refined a personal style defined by technical precision and a meticulous approach to flavor and texture.
The menu features standout dishes such as oysters with a signature sauce and caviar, squash blossom stuffed with cheese and finished with truffle, and main courses like a New York strip with wine and fig sauce or duck magret with fresh, subtly acidic notes.

For dessert, options include a chocolate and coffee sponge cake, alongside a curated beverage selection. The Callas cocktail, with notes of bergamot, pear, and cardamom, is particularly noteworthy.
Service is warm and attentive, with the team guiding guests through each dish and its inspiration—adding depth and meaning to the overall experience.
