La Bonvi

We kick off the taco trail with César de la Parra’s new taquería. It shares DNA with La Once Mil but features original fillings like tempura amberjack and prime suadero.

Los Cocuyos

Open 24/7 in the heart of downtown, this legendary spot serves tripa, eye, tongue, brains, head, pastor, and more. A HOT spot still going strong—and now featured in the Michelin Guide.

Tacos Domingo

Northern-style tacos straight from Monterrey, cooked over open flame. Expect arrachera, chuleta, ribs, corn or flour tortillas, beans, grilled onions, and aguas frescas.

El Gran Abanico

Carnitas in all their glory: maciza, cuerito, rib, and chicharrón. There’s always a line, but the flavor and texture are worth the wait. Another Michelin favorite.

Tacos Charly

After more than 50 years in San Fernando, this place is a taco institution. Known for ultra-tender suadero slow-cooked in pork fat. Campechano and pastor also available.
