Acapulco, the iconic Pacific coast city that has been part of Mexico’s cultural memory for decades, is rising again. After the devastating impact of Hurricane Otis, the city is beginning to recover with renewed strength and spirit. And what better way to honor that resurgence than with Trópico 2025, the music festival that—since its debut in 2013—has always been much more than an event.
From December 5–7, Acapulco will welcome new energy with a lineup that brings together top international and Latin talent on an oceanfront stage designed to reignite the city’s cultural pulse and local economy.

This year’s edition will take place over three days along the beautiful beaches of Pierre Mundo Imperial in Acapulco Diamante. In 2025, the festival celebrates 12 years with a lineup that reaffirms its diverse, inclusive, and elevated spirit. Headliners include The Blaze (Live), Bonobo (DJ Set), Todd Terje (DJ Set), and Rusowsky, alongside more than 40 international acts and emerging Latin American artists.

Trópico has always been more than a festival—it is a cultural meeting point, a sensory experience where music, the beach, and community merge against the backdrop of the Pacific. Since its first edition in 2013, it has become a reference within both the national and international music scenes.

Beyond its sound, Trópico has played a crucial role in Acapulco’s economic and labor reactivation.
