ZEGNA continues to expand its VILLA ZEGNA project with a new edition in Los Angeles, transforming the iconic Chateau Marmont into a temporary retreat where Italian culture, hospitality, and style come together.
After traveling through cities such as Shanghai, New York, Dubai, Miami, and Milan, the initiative arrives in California inspired by La Villeggiatura, an Italian tradition that celebrates the pleasure of relocating everyday life to another place for a season. More than a vacation, it is about bringing along the rituals, conversations, friendships, and lifestyle that can make any destination feel like home. That philosophy serves as the foundation for this latest edition of VILLA ZEGNA.
The experience took place from June 6 through June 9, immediately following the presentation of the ZEGNA Summer 2027 collection at Malibu Pier. During those days, the historic Chateau Marmont was transformed into an invitation-only private club.
At the heart of the concept is a distinctly Italian idea: Tutti a casa mia, which translates to “everyone at my house.” The expression captures the spontaneous hospitality of gathering friends and family together, and for this edition, ZEGNA brought that spirit to Los Angeles.

The spaces were designed to evoke the atmosphere of an Italian summer in the 1970s. Striped umbrellas, poolside aperitivos, vintage newspapers, long lunches, and an unhurried rhythm shaped the experience for guests. Inspiration also came from the way the Zegna family traveled during that decade, when vacations were often shared with friends and extended family, becoming a natural extension of everyday life. The result was a blend of relaxed Italian elegance and classic Los Angeles glamour.
Throughout the villa, references to the brand’s heritage appeared at every turn. Historical campaign imagery from the 1970s sat alongside nods to TOP, the cultural magazine published by ZEGNA between 1967 and 1980, helping create an immersive environment rooted in the house’s history.
Guests were also invited to explore spaces inspired by personal memories and family traditions. A screening room showcased films drawn from the brand’s archives, while lounges and bars featured natural materials, warm lighting, and earthy tones designed to foster an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the most memorable spaces was a reinterpretation of the traditional Italian edicola, or newsstand, located poolside. Here, guests found newspapers, postcards, gelato, sweets, and classic Italian refreshments.

To further reinforce the feeling of being inside a private residence, a cast of characters interacted with visitors throughout the experience. A gardener tended the grounds, a butler delivered personalized letters and room keys, and a bartender prepared cocktails inspired by the preferences of the Zegna family.
Over the course of the week, select clients, friends of the brand, international press, and invited celebrities participated in exclusive gatherings, private activities, and cultural experiences created specifically for this edition. Guests were also given access to pieces from the ZEGNA Summer 2027 collection, including made-to-order garments.
Since its launch in 2024, VILLA ZEGNA has evolved into a traveling platform designed to foster meaningful connections through culture, hospitality, and design. More than a temporary private club, the project represents an extension of the ZEGNA universe and its vision of contemporary living. With this latest stop in Los Angeles, the Italian house continues to demonstrate that its approach to lifestyle extends far beyond fashion.
