ZEGNA returns as the main sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, reaffirming the brand’s longstanding commitment to art, culture, and the Italian territory.

Promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of Italy’s Ministry of Culture, the pavilion presents Con te con tutto, an installation by Chiara Camoni curated by Cecilia Canziani. The project explores the relationship between nature, materiality, and collective memory through practices rooted in exchange, transformation, and collaboration.

ZEGNA’s participation in this year’s Biennale extends far beyond sponsorship. The house became an active part of the creative process itself: materials sourced from Oasi Zegna — including soil, ash, and minerals — were used in the production of the sculptures, while yarns from the historic Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna were integrated into several textile works throughout the installation. The result is a tangible dialogue between art, landscape, and material production.

This approach reflects a vision deeply embedded in the history of the Zegna family, where industry, nature, and culture have coexisted since the brand’s origins. It is from this philosophy that ZEGNART emerged — the artistic and cultural platform that brings together the maison’s contemporary art initiatives and collaborations developed over generations.

Rather than building a traditional collection, the company commissions works instead of acquiring them. Each project is conceived in direct relationship with territory, materials, and the maison’s values, becoming part of a broader and continuously evolving cultural narrative.

The relationship between the brand, Chiara Camoni, and Cecilia Canziani began in 2014 and has evolved through a series of collaborative projects over more than a decade. The artist’s participation in the Italian Pavilion represents a natural continuation of that creative dialogue.

“Supporting the Italian Pavilion at Biennale Arte 2026 means continuing a commitment that is part of our history,” said Gildo Zegna, Chairman and CEO of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group. “For more than a century, we have invested in Italian territory, craftsmanship, and culture, fostering an ongoing dialogue between business and art.”

The relationship between art and landscape will also continue through a solo exhibition by Chiara Camoni at Oasi Zegna, organized by Fondazione Zegna and curated by Ilaria Bonacossa. The exhibition will be on view from May 24 to November 22, 2026, expanding on the themes first introduced in Venice.

Through ZEGNART, the brand has collaborated over the years with internationally renowned artists including Michelangelo Pistoletto, William Kentridge, Daniel Buren, and Dan Graham, strengthening an ongoing conversation between contemporary art, architecture, and territory.

In 2025, the maison also launched a global multi-year partnership with Art Basel, further reinforcing its presence within the international cultural landscape and reaffirming its role as an active force in the production and promotion of contemporary art.
